Phase 1 | Long-Haul Fiber Optic Construction
Kramer Service Group constructed a long-haul fiber optic pathway spanning approximately 61 miles across Southwest Iowa.
The project connected seven communities—Shenandoah, Braddyville, Contrail, College Springs, Northboro, Westboro, and Clarinda—establishing critical telecommunications infrastructure in Page and Fremont Counties.
The fiber pathway required crossings of the Nodaway River and BNSF railroad, with utility separation requirements documented at 25 feet in constrained corridors.
Established fiber backbone connecting seven Southwest Iowa communities across two counties.
Documented 25-foot separation requirements in constrained right-of-way sections.
Fiber pathway crossed the Nodaway River and required BNSF railroad crossing coordination.
Constructed interconnections at multiple substations including Contrail Sub, Clarinda Sub, and Generation Substation at Northboro.
Kramer Service Group delivered approximately 61 miles of long-haul fiber optic infrastructure across Southwest Iowa, connecting seven communities through a coordinated construction effort with documented crossings at the Nodaway River and BNSF railroad.
