Kramer Service Group partnered with the City of West Des Moines to construct outside plant conduit infrastructure for Segment 4 Phase 1 of the City's Digital Enterprise initiative.
This project represented a continuation of the City's multi-phase effort to deploy a multi-user fiber conduit network within public right-of-way, designed to support connectivity for every residence and business.
KSG delivered complete construction services including horizontal directional drilling, installation of City-provided vaults, tracer wire systems with test stations, and full site restoration.
Installed over 280,554 linear feet of multi-configuration HDPE conduit including 7-way microduct, orange, green, blue, and blue-stripe conduit configurations.

142,113 LF of copper-clad steel tracer wire with 314 combined test station and anode assemblies, tested for locatability at 512 Hz.
